Organic Produce Co-op

We picked up our first order of organic produce today through the Inland Empire Organic Co-op. I was incredibly impressed at the great variety and quality of the my veggies and fruit. I am enjoying a fresh strawberry as I type this :) If you haven't heard of this group you can get information at http://organic.meetup.com/100/ Alexis is the group organizer and is wonderful for coordinating all of the produce that we receive. Much of the produce is from local farmers and picked that morning! The group meets every Saturday at Brookside Park in Redlands at 10 am and you pre-pay for the upcoming week. Yes, the produce changes weekly depending on what is in season and available, but that is how we should be eating. Make sure you sign up and thank Alexis for the amazing job she is doing for all of us!
